Production Supervisor

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Job description: We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee production operations. You will guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. In a fast-paced environment like production, the supervisor is an integral part of the manufacturing process. They must be competent and comprehend complex operations. You should be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

Responsibilities: Ensure the production line employees produce quality windows in a timely manner Maintain a teamwork environment with production line workers Improve line efficiency using lean manufacturing principals Ensure the safe use of equipment Check production output according to specifications Train new employees on how to safely use machinery Maintain a team relationship with all levels of management including other supervisors Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed and maintained Skills Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role preferred Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Computer Experience Organizational and leadership abilities Communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with a results-driven approach Problem-solving skills All candidates must possess good leadership skills, communication skills and be drug free!

Requirements: Previous glass handling/manufacturing experience required
