Software Engineering Manager for the Core Processing Software Team (F35)
Responsibilities include:
-CPSW program work force management(reassignments/placements, recruitment, selection ofnew employees, and terminations)-Personnel management (training, mentoring, careerdevelopment, performance/compensation, andpromotions)-Management responsibility will include collaborationwith F35 teams, Aeronautics Programs, and other Business Units. The successful candidate will beexpected to support communications with all levelsof employees, customers, and industry fromengineer to executive. Strong skills in conflictresolution, proactive communication, buildingcollaborative relationships and other "soft skills" aredesired.-Support pursuit and management of technologyroadmaps Standard Job Description Manages software development activities. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the design, development, documentation, and testing of software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Ensures software standards are met.
Basic Qualifications:
A level 5 employee Typically has 14 - 20 years of professionalexperience.Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at afacility that requires special access.recognition/disciplinary actions.
