Emerging Growth & Venture Capital Associate

Overview: The role involves leading transactions and direct interaction with founders, CEOs, management teams, and boards of directors at both company-side and VC/investor-side clients. Work focuses on high-growth businesses at all stages, from pre-seed to pre-IPO, including SAFEs, preferred stock financings, corporate governance matters, and general corporate work. Associates counsel management on matters such as company formation and exits, often handling diverse matters daily. The practice group advises both emerging growth companies and venture capital firms and institutional investors, allowing associates to gain experience on both sides of negotiations. Practice group clients represent diverse industries, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, digital health and wellness, defense tech, life sciences, electronic gaming, and fintech.
