Neonatal ICU Registered Nurse

This role requires a compassionate professional prepared to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment, providing critical care to the most vulnerable newborns. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to critically ill neonates based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions in a timely and comprehensive manner. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician in accordance with healthcare regulations. Participate in the development and modification of care plans in conjunction with other health care professionals. Educate parents and families on the medical conditions and treatment needs of their newborns. Ensure the use of scientifically tested techniques in clinical practices and adhere to quality assurance policies. Assist in the management of patient needs including advanced respiratory support, nutritional requirements, and developmental care. Advanced skills in providing level IV neonatal care. Proficiency in neonatal ventilatory management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments. Empathetic and compassionate patient and family care. Knowledge of the latest neonatal research and medical treatments.
