Location: Chandler, AZ
Schedule: Onsite - Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Compensation: $58k to $65k DOE

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a detail oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join an established organization in Chandler. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing customer accounts, resolving billing discrepancies, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall cash flow process. The right candidate will thrive in a fast paced environment and bring a strong customer service mindset to both internal and external interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full cycle accounts receivable process, including invoicing, cash application, account reconciliation, and collections activities. Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances. Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, deductions, and account issues. Prepare and maintain accurate customer account records and supporting documentation. Collaborate with operations, property teams, and management to resolve billing concerns and improve processes. Generate recurring and ad hoc financial reports for leadership and business partners. Assist with month end closing activities related to receivables. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable industry regulations. Support audits by providing requested documentation and account analysis.
Qualifications:
At least 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or a related accounting function. Experience working within real estate, commercial property operations, multifamily housing, hospitality, or a similar asset based industry is highly preferred. Familiarity with tenant accounting, customer ledgers, lease related billing, or occupancy based revenue streams is a plus. Experience using ERP or property accounting software. Exposure to Yardi, MRI, Real Page, or similar systems is beneficial. Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals, including debits, credits, reconciliations, and financial reporting principles. Strong Microsoft Excel abilities, including data management, report creation, formulas, and spreadsheet analysis. Ability to investigate account issues, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and customer focused approach. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to data integrity.
