Due to growth, we are currently seeking to add a Jr Systems Administrator to our exceptional team. The Jr Systems Administrator is responsible for taking the first level tickets once escalated to the team. In this role it is vital in ensuring the IT infrastructure runs smoothly while building a foundation for more advanced responsibilities in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Support operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOSManage user accounts using tools like Active Directory
- Assist with software installation, configuration, and troubleshootingProvide basic networking support (IP configuration, DNS, VPN)
- Configure, install, and support desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and IT teams for repairs, updates, and troubleshootingProvide timely, professional support to end users
- Communicate clearly and explain technical issues to non-technical users
- Maintain accurate documentation and time entries
- Build strong relationships with clients and ensure high satisfaction
- Handle user concerns calmly and professionally, including de-escalation
- Other duties as assigned.
