Apply for this role (opens in a new tab)Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA)/Grants Contract SpecialistMayvin is seeking an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA)/Grants Contract Specialist to support our U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) contract in the Prisoner Operations Division (POD). The Contract Specialist will process new and existing IGAs and provide analytical support to help evaluate and justify future rates paid to county and state agencies. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to undergo and pass a Public Trust background investigation.
Responsibilities:
Receive all Intergovernmental Agreements applications from various facilities request to do business with USMS or request a rate increase for housing USMS prisonerReview each application for completeness and accuracy prior to handing it off to the Intergovernmental Agreement SpecialistAssist each Specialist with pre-award development, which includes requesting Department of Labor wage determinations, uploading USMS facility inspection reports, conducting market research and cost analysis to assist Specialist determining fair and reasonable housing and guard ratesAssist with updating policies and procedures, congressional inquiries and Freedom of Information Act requestsAssist the Intergovernmental Agreements Team in providing customers with guidance on procurement related matters by way of email requests and phone calls
