Intern Program Overview: We are committed to building a strong talent pipeline by investing in early career professionals. Our internship and co‑op programs provide mentorship, training, hands‑on experience, and growth opportunities that empower students to explore their career paths with confidence. Summer interns work full‑time (40 hours per week) from May through August. Candidates must be currently enrolled college students actively pursuing a degree to participate in the internship program.
Job Purpose: The Case IH Cotton Engineering teamsupports both new product development and Current Product Management (CPM) by addressing challenges from customers, CNH factories, and test machines. The team works dynamically across the entire process—from root cause analysis to design, development, and implementation of solutions. Interns on this team work alongside engineers as full team members, gaining hands‑on exposure to the full product lifecycle of cotton harvesters. As aCotton Harvesting Engineering Intern, you will gain experience in design, modeling, prototype builds, and laboratory testing of subsystems for cotton harvesters while contributing to real‑world product improvements.
Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities may include: Preparing and completingdesigns, layouts, and drawingsfor specific product elements under development or improvement, consistent with project objectives and schedules Applyingengineering techniquesand considering manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and environmental standards to produce cost‑effective designs Performingengineering calculationsto determine part sizes, strengths, and solve design challenges Supporting prototype builds, draftingchange requests, requisitions, work orders, parts lists, and test requestsas directed by project leaders Assisting withlaboratory and product evaluationsto validate design performance Resolving functional and mechanical problems on assigned subsystems Learning and applyingCNH engineering standards, ISO procedures, and work instructions Gaining proficiency inCAD (Pro‑E)and engineering data management systems as required for project responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in the following majors or a related field: Agricultural and Biological Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Pay Transparency The annual salary for this role is $19.57-$27.81plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
