Design, analyze, and test components and technologies for current and next-generation naval nuclear propulsion plants, including support for primary and secondary systems. Improve manufacturing processes and coordinate mechanical engineering work with electrical, thermal, structural, performance, and nuclear engineering teams.
Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in a related technical, engineering, or science field and at least four years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master's degree with at least two years, a doctorate, or qualifying current company engineering roles. Preferred qualifications include strong academic performance, teamwork and leadership, experience with FEA, design drawings, manufacturing, technical reports, or engineering evaluations, and strong communication skills.
