Hands-on experience in defect triage, change request workflow, and incident management. Proficiency in ServiceNow, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Microsoft Office Suite for test management.
Test Planning, Preparation, and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
- Coordinate and execute testing activities while ensuring adherence to established processes.
- Work closely with development teams to understand project goals and requirements.
- Domain Knowledge in Banking
- Good to have an understanding of the banking domain and its specific requirements.
- Apply domain knowledge to create test scenarios and align testing activities with industry standards.
Infrastructure Knowledge:
Familiarity with servers (Windows and Unix), networking, databases, and patching. Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure seamless integration of testing activities within the IT landscape.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address testing-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on testing progress and results.
- Flexibility and 24/7 Availability
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment, including night shifts and flexible rosters.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a Test Coordinator or in a similar software testing role.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Knowledge of ServiceNow, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with banking domain processes and requirements.
Infrastructure knowledge including servers, networking, databases, and patching.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
