Responsibilities:
- Help patients with daily functions, such as dressing or bathing
- Household chores, such as vacuuming or laundry
- Shopping and cooking meals
- Scheduling doctor appointments or other meetings and arranging transportation
- Reporting to nurses about the patient's health status
- Teaching patients self-care skills
Qualifications:
- Certified in New York to work as HHA or PCAValid IDAuthorized to work in the United StatesSocial Security card (No TaxID accepted)
- Happy and willing to provide care
- Ability to care for patients
- Experience in palliative care, home care, or other related fields is a plus.
- Ability to attend to minor medical issues
- Availability to work occasionally in the afternoons, holidays, and weekends
