Michelli Weighing and Measurement is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Director to oversee and lead our marketing strategy and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing principles, the ability to lead a team, and experience in the industrial or B2B sectors. This is a senior role that requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute marketing strategies focused on generating qualified leads, pipeline, and revenue growth. Partner closely with the Chief Revenue Officer to align marketing priorities, campaigns, and initiatives with sales goals. Full ownership of the Hub Spot CRM implementation and ongoing management, including configuration, workflows, integrations, lead scoring, reporting, and data management. Establish marketing metrics and reporting to track lead generation, conversion rates, cost per lead, campaign performance, and marketing-attributed revenue. Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, email, social media, SEO/SEM, trade shows, events, and other channels. Manage Michelli’s brand strategy and ensure consistent messaging and presentation across all platforms and customer touchpoints. Conduct market research and analyze customer, industry, and competitor trends to identify opportunities for growth. Develop marketing and sales enablement materials, including case studies, product materials, presentations, email campaigns, and other resources. Manage the company’s trade show and industry event strategy, ensuring participation is focused on high-value opportunities and measurable results. Develop and manage the marketing budget, monitor spending, and evaluate ROI to ensure resources are allocated effectively. Lead, develop, and evaluate the marketing team while identifying capability gaps and opportunities for development. Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, partners, and other marketing resources. Train and support employees on Hub Spot, marketing processes, and related tools as needed. Continuously evaluate marketing performance and adjust strategies, campaigns, and spending based on results and business needs. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred, with 7+ years of marketing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Experience in industrial, technology, or B2B marketing, with a proven track record of developing strategies and campaigns that support lead generation, revenue growth, and business objectives. Develop and execute the company’s overall marketing strategy and annual marketing plan. Lead, develop, and manage the marketing team and department priorities. Oversee brand management, digital marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, content, advertising, and communications. Partner with Sales and leadership to align marketing efforts with business goals and support lead generation and revenue growth. Manage the marketing budget, vendors, agencies, events, sponsorships, and external partnerships. Conduct market research and monitor industry and competitor trends to identify opportunities for growth. Monitor marketing performance, analyze results, and use data to optimize campaigns, spending, and overall strategy. Strong knowledge of CRM systems, marketing analytics, and performance metrics, with the ability to translate data into actionable business decisions. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution. Ensure marketing activities and materials align with company standards, brand guidelines, and business objectives. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements: Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use a computer, and communicate with others in person, by phone, and electronically. Travel will be between 25% and 50%.May occasionally be required to lift, carry, or move marketing materials, displays, or supplies weighing up to 25 pounds.
