Trinity Employment Specialists is hiring: Optician in Tulsa

RESPONSIBILITIES: Help children and their parents/guardians select eyeglass frames. Assist with measuring, fitting, and adjusting glasses for proper comfort and fit. Help children feel comfortable and excited about wearing glasses. Educate families on proper eyewear care and maintenance. Answer questions regarding frames, lenses, and eyewear options. Assist with ordering and dispensing eyewear. Maintain accurate patient and eyewear information. Provide excellent customer service to children and their families. Keep the optical area clean, organized, and welcoming. Assist with other clinic duties as needed. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS: Previous optician experience is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided! Must genuinely enjoy working with children and be comfortable interacting with pediatric patients. Friendly, patient, outgoing, and compassionate personality. Strong communication and customer service skills. Excellent attention to detail. Comfortable learning new terminology, equipment, and procedures. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Previous healthcare, optical, retail, or customer service experience is a plus. Basic computer skills required. PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCEThis position requires a polished, professional appearance appropriate for a pediatric healthcare environment.
