The Opportunity: FuntoNetwork is seeking aConstruction Cost Estimator and Schedulerfor upcoming project opportunity: North Carolina Department of Transportation .Core Responsibilities Execute the Construction Cost Estimator and Scheduler scope for North Carolina Department of Transportation: Develop quantity, cost, production, schedule, risk, change, and progress controls tied to the scope and bid requirements. Complete site or receiving readiness, mobilization, access, safety, sequencing, material, equipment, and outage coordination. Execute and document the assigned installation, construction, maintenance, shipping, receiving, or field-service activities to the approved requirements. Maintain daily production, labor, material, custody, safety, inspection, issue, and change records; coordinate required corrective work. Complete testing, punch-list resolution, reconciliation, turnover documentation, training or demonstrations, and client acceptance. Trace assigned work to the RFP scope, requirement or RTM row, deliverable, dependency, acceptance criterion, schedule milestone, and supporting evidence. Review official solicitation materials and addenda affecting this workstream; document assumptions, open items, exclusions, risks, and required client decisions. Prepare role-specific technical inputs, work products, estimates, implementation details, quality records, and proposal or post-award delivery evidence. Coordinate interfaces and handoffs with project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations workstreams. Maintain status, issue, decision, change, and evidence records and escalator blockers before they affect submission or delivery readiness. What You Bring Demonstrated experience performing Construction Cost Estimator and Scheduler responsibilities in public-sector, regulated, enterprise, or comparable environments. Ability to produce complete, reviewable work products tied to requirements and acceptance criteria. Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, confidentiality, and deadline discipline. Relevant licenses, certifications, clearances, insurance, or local delivery capacity when required by the solicitation.
