Production Machine Operator Production Machine Operator ensures the successful production of finished materials by adhering to all safety policies and protocols, operating machines and equipment at optimal performance levels, and performing minor maintenance tasks, thereby promoting worksite safety, product quality, and operational efficiency. Main responsibilities of the Production Machine Operator: Daily operations & follow safety protocols at all times. Maintain cleanliness on the production floor and in common areas. Meet quality standards for all finished goods. Log all production numbers, including good products, rejects, scrap, and regrinds. Complete all paperwork, documenting any process changes or deviations. Equipment & Technical Skills and capabilities of the Production Machine Operator: Operate and troubleshoot manufacturing machinery efficiently. Manage machine cycles, including startup, monitoring (MMI, stranding, pelletizing), and shutdown. Keep machines running by refilling materials, adjusting feeder rates, and managing support equipment. Perform product changeovers based on work orders and verbal instructions. Ability to understand basic math. Must be dependable and have good attendance. Must be able to lift heavy material and handle physical effort (50 lbs)Be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
