Electrical Drafter

Qualifications: Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred Minimum 2-4 years of drafting experience in industrial electrical or power distribution environments or a BS degree with no experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, electrical drafting standards, wire list generation and revision management Ability to read and interpret electrical one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, control drawings

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Produce engineering documentation including: One-line diagrams Three-line diagrams Schematic drawings Wiring diagrams Wire lists Interconnection drawings Control panel layouts Cable schedules Bill of materials (BOMs)Support design documentation for medium voltage switchgear, protection and control systems, power distribution assemblies, control and relay applications Incorporate engineering updates, manufacturing redlines, and production feedback into released drawings Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve drawing discrepancies and support production needs Assist with drawing revisions and workflow updates within the PLM system Maintain drawing accuracy and compliance with company drafting standards Support continuous improvement and standardization of electrical drawing packages \nCompany
