TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR MICROBIOLOGY

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The Microbiology-Molecular Supervisor must work independently and have a high level of training in the Microbiology and Molecular Department. The person maintains a quality control program, maintenance and instrumentation for the department. A department manual must be maintain and written to ensure regulatory requirement are met. The Supervisor will train new employees in the department and work directly with the staff to ensure all results meet the highest laboratory standards. The person will perform daily laboratory testing and perform phlebotomy as necessary.

Education: Four year college (Bachelor's Degree)
