Key Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification with a focus on visual impairment or related field
Proficiency in Braille instruction (Braillist certification or equivalent experience)
Experience supporting K-12 students with visual disabilities
Strong adaptability in new environments and collaborative skills
Commitment to individualized education plans (IEPs) and student advocacy
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction to visually impaired students
Produce and interpret Braille materials
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
Offer consultative support to educators and families
Foster inclusivity and confidence in students
