Management Company Accounting Manager

Responsibilities: Prepare and review financial reporting for management company entities. Support monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and consolidations. Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting processes. Analyze and resolve complex accounting and financial reporting matters. Partner across Finance, Tax, Legal and other functions on accounting and reporting initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve and automate accounting, reporting and control processes. Support broader projects involving systems, processes and the firm's financial infrastructure.

Qualifications: 6+ years of relevant experience. CPA is required. Background in alternative asset management, investment management, financial services or public accounting. Experience with management company, corporate or legal entity accounting is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, close processes and internal controls. Experience preparing and/or reviewing financial statements and supporting complex accounting matters. Experience with automation, systems implementations or accounting transformation initiatives is a plus.
