Apply for this role →We are looking for a Safety Technician for a jobsite in the Baytown, Mont Belvieu areaPK Industrial is seeking a Safety Technician to support safety operations at an industrial worksite. This position is responsible for helping maintain a safe work environment by conducting inspections, monitoring compliance, supporting training efforts, and assisting with safety documentation and reporting. This position is intended for local candidates onlyNo per diem, travel pay, or relocation assistance is available. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of the job location. Project opportunity - 16 - 20 week duration. Minimum of 50 hours per week.
Pay Range: $28 - $32 an hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine site safety inspections and observations. Monitor compliance with company and client safety requirements. Assist with incident investigations and documentation. Support new hire orientations and safety training activities. Maintain safety records, reports, and required documentation. Promote a positive safety culture and identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
Prior industrial, construction, or safety experience required. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
