What You'll Do:
As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an important role in helping our medical team provide outstanding care to patients and exceptional service to their families.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Safely handling and restraining patients using compassionate, low-stress techniques
- Preparing examination rooms, treatment areas, and medical equipment
- Monitoring, feeding, walking, and caring for hospitalized patients
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe hospital environment
- Stocking supplies and assisting with inventory management
- Supporting client education and reinforcing home‑care instructions
- Working collaboratively with team members to ensure excellent patient care
What We're Looking For:
We're searching for someone who brings a positive attitude, genuine compassion, and a willingness to learn. Ideal qualifications include: At least one year of veterinary hospital experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong teamwork and organizational abilities A dependable, professional, and positive attitude Ability to work effectively in a busy veterinary environment Comfort handling animals of different sizes and temperaments Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds
