Follows established policies and procedures. Routes and scheduling may vary depending on the specific needs of the Nutrition Services department and/or district. This position requires an MVR at time of interview. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pull grocery orders in the warehouse for kitchens based on schedule.
Load groceries and deliver to all designated kitchens throughout District.
Load food carts and deliver to scheduled kitchens.
Pick up food carts and return to production kitchens.
Understand and follow all Food Safety and HACCP protocols.
Load mail, packages, and media supplies.
Deliver mail, packages, and media supplies throughout District according to scheduled routes.
Pick up, document, and deliver deposits as assigned.
Return mail, media and packages to SSC building from scheduled sites.
Maintain safe and timely driving schedule in all weather conditions.
Complete safety and maintenance checks of District vehicles.
Schedule repair and maintenance of trucks and clean vehicles.
Operate vehicles and warehouse equipment in safe manner, consistent with District policies and procedures.
Accommodate for varying delivery service and time demands in the field.
Maintain positive and professional relationships at all times with all students, staff and community members.
Assists other drivers and with special assignments as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:

Supervision/Technical Responsibility:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Acts as a resource for delivery schedules by answering questions.
Education and Training:
High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
0 – 2 years experience in driving and delivery. Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations: Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado Class C driver's license. Safety to Self and Others: In order to safely perform this position, the employee must be familiar with the safety rules of the job and participate in all safety training provided by the department. Employee must wear personal protective equipment whenever required, ask for assistance if the task requires more than one person and, if unsure how to perform a task safely, stop and ask supervisor for instruction before continuing. All employees of the District are responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work place and ensuring that safety precautions and practices are followed. Employees are expected to immediately report any unsafe working conditions or safety problems to the immediate supervisor. Until corrective action is taken, ensure that the area or condition is restricted and that cautionary devices, i.e., cones, temporary fencing, floor signs, etc. are in place so that others are not affected or injured.
