Senior Air Force Program Management Specialist The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior Air Force Program Management Specialist and to provide Air Force military rated nuclear expertise in the Integrated Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Life Cycle Management System, and provide expert guidance and advice to Air Force headquarters staff. The work is to plan, organize and develop policies and guidelines for Integrated Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Life Cycle Management System to provide expert counsel, analytical services and advice to higher levels of management.
Duties:
Applying Air Force military rated nuclear expertise collaborates with Air Staff, Joint Staff, COCOMs and MAJCOMs in advocacy of all nuclear and nuclear related programmatic and budgeting as a part of the Air Force Corporate Structure to develop AF position on nuclear weapons, nuclear-capable aircraft and long-range strike issues. Applying Air Force military aviator nuclear expertise injects a direct presence via panels, shaping directives guidance and interaction with Air Staff, Joint Staff, COCOMs and MAJCOMs in the requirements, acquisition, programming and budget process integrates AF nuclear/combat aircraft capabilities. Prepares reports, responses to queries, justifications and background papers on the technical aspects of areas of expertise and assignment. Applying Air Force military rated nuclear expertise maintains a continuous liaison with other Air Staff, other service headquarters counterparts and DOD offices.
