ASME Welder/Fabricator

Required: Previous experience working under ASME codes and standards Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics Ability to follow written instructions in English in a high-volume manufacturing environment Ability to follow safety rules and regulations Ability to work overtime as needed

Job Duties: Weld and fabricate various tanks and components to ASME Section VIII Division 1 Code standards. Welding includes FCAW / GMAW, SAW, SMAWObtain company required certification for above within 60 days of hire Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers Safely operate equipment including overhead cranes (training provided)Comfortable using electric grinding equipment Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. climb ladders, work at heights up to 16 ft., and periodically work in confined spaces Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Plant Manager
