Registered Nurse – Assisted Living & Memory Care

Bear Creek Senior Living in Colorado Springs is seeking a dedicated RN to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality clinical care, support residents with daily health needs, coordinate with physicians and families, and ensure regulatory compliance. You’ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans, administer medications, and mentor caregiving staff. Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assessments, monitoring, and clinical interventions. Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized care plans based on resident needs and preferences. Administer medications and treatments accurately, following physician orders and facility protocols. Monitor residents for changes in condition and respond promptly to urgent or emergent situations. Supervise, support, and mentor care assistants to ensure high-quality, person-centered care. Assist with and oversee activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and comfort measures. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and accurately in resident records. Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members. Participate in care conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and staff training programs. Promote a safe, clean, and respectful environment that aligns with regulatory standards and community policies. Support resident wellness programs and encourage engagement in social and recreational activities.
