Job Description: We are seeking one qualified individual to support Warehouse and Investment Recovery operations. The successful candidate will perform a combination of warehouse, material handling, and investment recovery activities while maintaining strict compliance with safety requirements, company procedures, and operational expectations.
Primary Responsibilities: Warehouse OperationsThe candidate must possess general warehouse knowledge and skills, including the ability to:
  • Perform warehouse transactions and administrative tasks using computer systems.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load, unload, receive, store, and deliver materials throughout the site.
  • Follow established warehouse processes, procedures, and inventory control practices.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Investment Recovery OperationsThe candidate must possess a general understanding of equipment and materials commonly used in a chemical manufacturing environment, including but not limited to:
  • PumpsValvesGasketsPiping components and miscellaneous plant equipment
Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing scrap metal containers located in various areas of the plant.
  • Receiving training to safely operate a backhoe for the purpose of compacting scrap metal containers.
  • Managing materials stored within the Investment Recovery Facility under the direction of the Diamond Investment Recovery Focal Point.
  • Participating in Investment Recovery meetings and supporting related initiatives.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned to support warehouse and investment recovery operations.________________________________________Required Qualifications and Competencies The successful candidate should demonstrate the following:

  • The physical demands listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
Lifting and Material Handling: Safely lift, carry, push, pull, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a routine basis using proper ergonomic techniques. Lift materials exceeding 50 pounds with team assistance or approved mechanical lifting devices. Follow established ergonomic practices to minimize injury risk, including proper lifting techniques and body positioning.
Posture and Mobility: Stand and walk for extended periods during the workday. Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, climb, reach, and work in various physical positions. Perform twisting and rotational movements while handling materials and operating equipment.
Manual Dexterity and Coordination: Frequently grasp, handle, and manipulate tools, equipment components, and small parts. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and job-specific equipment.
Equipment Operation: Mount, dismount, and operate forklifts, material handling equipment, backhoes (upon qualification), and other assigned equipment. Maintain balance and stability while operating equipment, navigating congested work areas, and walking on uneven surfaces.
Environmental Conditions: Work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Tolerate varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, cold temperatures, noise, and dusty environments. Work in areas where exposure to chemicals, fumes, and odors may occur, with appropriate PPE provided. Perform duties in active industrial environments and around moving equipment.
Sensory Requirements: Possess adequate vision, depth perception, hand-eye coordination, and hearing necessary to safely perform assigned tasks.
