Inpatient Rehabilitation Registered Nurse

Encompass Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care, coordinate and implement individualized rehab plans, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team. You will monitor patient progress, educate patients and families, and ensure compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols. Assess patient condition by monitoring vital signs, symptoms, and reactions to treatments. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Record patient care services and maintain accurate patient documentation. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of the treatment plan. Supervise and direct nursing staff and participate in educational programs for staff and community outreach. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of healthcare protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
