Apply for this role →Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Medical Director opportunity in Tucson, AZGreat opportunity for a driven PM&R physician to join our post-acute care team in the Tucson, Arizona area. This is a full-time opportunity (5 days/week) rounding in skilled nursing facilities, with excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs
- Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations
Qualifications:
Current physician license (State of Arizona) and DEAExperience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred but not required; new grads welcome to apply Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
