  • Weekly PaySMT Manufacturing Specialist Tasks & DutiesHand soldering intricate electronic assemblies with precision and care
  • Electro-mechanical assembly, ensuring accuracy and adherence to technical specifications
  • Set up and load feeders, boards, and materials for SMT line operations under supervision
  • Operate basic SMT equipment, including a solder paste printer, and assist with SPI setup
  • Visually inspect boards for obvious defects and escalate issues as needed
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of SMT workstations and tools
  • Follow detailed work instructions and comply with ESD and safety protocols
  • Preform other duties and support other areas as needed, based on business requirements or production flow
  • Operates manufacturing equipment while adhering to safety protocols to optimize production processes and maintain efficiency
  • Enter and updates product tracking data to ensure accurate, up to date records for quality control and inventory management
  • Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standardsSMT Manufacturing Specialist Shift InfoDay Shift, 5:30 am to 4:00 pmMonday - ThursdaySMT Manufacturing Specialist Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)
  • High School Diploma or GEDBasic computer skills and the ability to follow written instructions
  • Strong hand eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements
  • Effective verbal and written communication in a technical environment
  • Collaborates effectively within a team and adjusts to shifting priorities and environments
  • Must be U.S. Persons within the definitions of ITAR, with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security ClearanceSMT Manufacturing Specialist Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in electronics or SMT manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g. ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ITAR)
  • Basic knowledge of SMT equipment and processesSMT Manufacturing Specialist Key Metrics and Focus Areas
  • Accuracy and timeliness of SMT setup tasks
  • Compliance with work instructions and safety requirements
  • Support for production throughput and line readinessSMT Manufacturing Specialist Physical Requirments
  • Lift and carry materials or feeder reels up to 25 lbs
  • Stand and walk for extended periods in SMT Production areas
  • Manual dexterity for handling small components and tools
  • Visual acuity for inspecting boards and components
