Role Description:
The Front Desk Staff role is a part-time or full time position depending on candidate, on-site position located at Prime PT & Wellness in Hobe Sound, FL. This role is responsible for greeting patients, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and creating a welcoming, organized front office environment. Daily tasks include answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, scheduling and confirming appointments, and coordinating patient flow between the front desk and clinical staff. The Front Desk Staff will handle patient intake forms, verify basic information and insurance eligibility, manage electronic records, process payments, and assist with insurance-related documentation as directed. This position also supports general administrative tasks, maintains a clean and professional reception area, and upholds the clinic’s patient-first standards in every interaction.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to support a patient-centered, welcoming environment. Candidates should possess solid Phone Etiquette and Receptionist Duties skills for managing calls, appointments, and front desk workflows. Candidates should possess basic Computer Literacy skills for working with scheduling software, electronic records, and payment systems. Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy clinical setting are important. Prior experience in healthcare, physical therapy, or wellness front office roles is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; willingness to learn clinic processes and confidentiality standards is essential.
