School Psychologist in Chicago, IL

Qualifications & Experience: Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working in educational environments, preferably K-12.Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills. Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families. Deep understanding of MTSS/RTI processes and special education regulations. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Adaptable and organized approach to managing a varied caseload.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and provide detailed reports. Collaborate with IEP teams to develop and monitor student plans. Offer individual and group counseling for students as needed. Support implementation of behavioral interventions and evidence-based practices. Consult with staff and families regarding interventions, mental health, and best practices. Contribute to crisis prevention and intervention efforts. Participate in professional development and maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards.
