Apply for this role (opens in a new tab)Construction Project Manager – MEP / Mission Critical Location: La Porte, Indiana Salary: Up to $150,000 Base + Performance Bonus Employment Type: Full-Time About the Opportunity We are partnering with a well-established construction contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager for upcoming large-scale projects in Northern Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in commercial or industrial construction who has experience managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) scopes. Candidates coming from general contractors or mechanical/MEP subcontractors are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities:
Manage construction projects from planning and preconstruction through completion. Oversee project schedules, budgets, forecasting, and overall execution. Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other construction trades. Work closely with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and clients. Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation. Monitor project progress, costs, schedules, and quality standards. Lead project meetings and maintain strong relationships with customers and project teams. Identify potential project challenges and proactively develop solutions. Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Qualifications:
Experience as a Project Manager in commercial, industrial, or large-scale construction. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) construction. Experience working for a general contractor or mechanical/MEP subcontractor. Ability to manage multiple trades, schedules, budgets, and subcontractors. Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project financials. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Mission-critical, data center, healthcare, manufacturing, or other complex construction experience is a plus. Experience coordinating large mechanical and electrical scopes is highly desirable.
