Qualifications: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Fellowship trainedin Dermatology Board Certifiedin Dermatology Demonstrated prior leadership experience (division, section, program, or medical directorship) Excellent communication, collaborationandorganizational leadership skills
Academic Leadership Responsibilities: Collaboration with Graduate Medical Education and Undergraduate Medical Education leadership and Department Chairs to support all aspects of dermatology education for medical students, residentsandfellows Oversight of dermatology teaching activities, including clinical teaching, didactic curricula, simulation-based education, electivesandmedical grand rounds Participation in initiatives to supportan optimalclinical learning environment, aligned with ACGME standards Promotion of faculty engagement in Maine Health’sclinical, educationalandresearch missions, including recruitment, development, mentorshipandacademic advancement Collaboration with Maine Healthresearch leadership to support and mentor clinical, translationalandhealth-services research relevant to dermatology Clinical Leadership

Responsibilities: Participation in ongoing professional practice evaluation (OPPE) and focused professional practice evaluation (FPPE) processes Leadership in faculty and advanced practice provider recruitment, onboarding, engagement, developmentandretention Support for division members’ participation in regional and national professional societies, leadership developmentprogramsandacademic promotion Attendance and participation in meetings and workgroups necessary to fulfill academic, clinicalandadministrative responsibilities At Maine Health, we recognize the value each team member brings to our organization.
