Assistant Residential Manager

Call Responsibilities: The Assistant Residential Manager is responsible for direct care staffing and assisting the Manager in the overall running of thehome, including staffing, and associated day programs. This home has four (3) residents - 2 men and 1 woman who have autism and behavioral episodes

Duties include: Assists with the oversight and supervision of staff Direct care staffing as needed. Assists with the coordination and provision of medical services Promotes the development and retention of a homelike environment, including being a role model Supports the oversight and direction of all planned services to residents Maintenanceof accurate records as they relate to the operations of the house, services provided to residents, supervision of staff Participation in required meetings Assistance with on-call coverage for the home

Qualifications Include: H.S. diploma or equivalent required.1 year of experienceworking with intellectual/developmental disabilities required. Prior experience working with individuals with autism and behaviors preferred. Prior management responsibility, including staff supervision preferred. Use of a personal vehicle to perform assigned duties is required. Obtain and maintain certifications in CPR, First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration.
