$150,000 – $220,000 depending on experience Hiring on behalf of an established travel management company. The employer is disclosed to candidates who move forward.
THE ROLE:
This is the senior finance seat. You report directly to the President/CEO, sit on the executive team, and own the financial health of the business end to end.
The current Director of Finance is departing and the company is moving quickly. You would step into a real seat with real authority, not a build-from-nothing situation.
What makes this one interesting: it is strategic but still touches the operation. You will advise the CEO on growth, capital structure and long-term planning, and you will also make sure the monthly close is clean, the commissions are right and the systems actually work. If you like being the person who connects the numbers to the decisions, this is that job.
WHAT YOU WILL OWNAll accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax and financial systems across multiple entities and divisions
Monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, consolidated and entity-level, GAAP compliant
Cash management, banking relationships and liquidity planning through seasonal demand cycles
Corporate payroll, IC commissions, year-end W-2s and 1099s, and 401(k) plan trustee duties including the annual IRS 5500
Client and vendor billing, agency data reconciliations, audits and client reporting
Financial systems administration: Trams, Quick Books, Grasp and related third-party platforms
Entity formation and compliance across corporate affiliates, including registered agent requirements
Financial review of management contracts, franchise and brand agreements, and third-party operating agreements
Financial due diligence on potential management and consultant engagements
Standardized financial policies, procedures and reporting templates across the portfolio
A finance team, and the culture of discipline and partnership between finance and operations
WHAT YOU BRING15+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership, including 8 to 10 in a senior financial leadership role
Track record leading finance teams through growth
Advanced financial modeling, forecasting and business intelligence skills
Strong executive presence; you can put complex financials in front of any audience and be understood
Working knowledge of Trams, Sabre, Quick Books and similar systems.
Travel or hospitality finance background strongly preferred
Experience with management agreements and ownership structures
Advanced Excel
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Discretion and integrity in handling sensitive financial information
SCHEDULEHybrid. Onsite during training, then 1 to 2 days per week in the Dallas office.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$150,000 – $220,000 base depending on experience, plus medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) with discretionary match, and paid time off.
The range is wide because the client is flexible for the right background. Candidates at the top end bring travel or hospitality finance experience and multi-entity consolidation depth.
