Packer - 1St Shift (Star Ii)

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMAbout the RoleWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packer to join our manufacturing team in Largo, FL. The primary responsibility of this role is to package and prepare a variety of manufactured products for shipment in a fast-paced production environment. The Packer will support manufacturing, quality, and assembly departments by performing packaging duties, conducting basic visual quality inspections, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities: Stack and pack products into appropriate containers such as boxes, poly bags, and other packaging materials. Prepare finished products for shipment by labeling and packaging according to company standards. Verify the quality and quantity of products prior to packaging. Complete required paperwork and ensure proper labeling of all containers for shipment. Identify misprinted or defective products and remove them from the production line, recording defects as required. Assist in maintaining production flow to meet daily manufacturing goals. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Support assembly and quality departments as needed. Repeatedly lift, stack, and tape boxes, lifting up to 20 pounds regularly throughout the shift. Stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements for extended periods.

Required Qualifications: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
