Russell Tobin’s client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support major transformation initiatives within Finance. Reporting to the Project Lead, this role will manage and support multiple workstreams through successful execution, transition, and integration while ensuring projects are delivered in line with the overall program strategy. The ideal candidate has experience leading major change initiatives, managing geographically dispersed teams and resources, and working with senior stakeholders across regional and functional teams. Workstreams may include people, process, technology, and real estate components supporting the development of a Target Operating Model.
What You’ll Be Doing: Manage multiple projects and workstreams across regions and functions, ensuring activities are prioritized and completed on schedule. Coordinate direct and indirect resources across geographically dispersed teams. Communicate project objectives, timelines, deliverables, and key activities to management and project stakeholders. Develop project business cases, assessments, communication plans, implementation plans, and other strategic documentation. Support project implementation using tools such as migration schedules, project plans, and implementation frameworks. Present project updates, risks, and recommendations to senior Finance leadership. Facilitate decision-making and problem-solving on key project issues. Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and escalate significant issues to management. Maintain project controls and ensure deliverables, change controls, and compliance requirements are properly managed. Proactively identify issues and drive projects through successful completion with minimal oversight. What You BringProven experience managing major projects, programs, or transformation initiatives. Strong project management and change management experience. Experience managing workstreams involving people, process, technology, or organizational transformation. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior-level stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. Comfortable working across regions, functions, and geographically dispersed teams. Self-motivated with the ability to independently drive projects and objectives to completion. Experience with project controls, risk management, issue escalation, and change management processes.
