Senior Video Editor

Responsibilities: The focus of this role will be crafting top-tier video edits that feel unique and polished. This role will require a video editor with tasteful decision-making about interview camera angle cut timing, b-roll usage, color grading, and more. As the Senior Video Editor, you'll be focused on the tasteful and creative aspects of an edit. For most projects, an assistant editor will handle project setup for you, lay out selects, and take care of other prep work so that you can focus on the creative aspects of the edit.

Requirements: The three qualities that matter most in this role are organization, communication, and timeliness. These characteristics are the foundation of how Right Hand Films operates in all departments. At least 10 years of experience as a professional video editor is required. Most important is great communication, a self-starting mindset, and a willingness to curate an edit to perfection. We use Adobe Premiere for all edits.

Compensation and Benefits: This role offers an annual salary of $100,000 plus a retirement match of up to 3%. Benefits include three weeks of paid vacation (15 business days), paid sick days, and paid holidays.
