1+ yearsof experience as an H2S Safety Technician or 2+yearsofexperiencein a related role. Working knowledge of air-monitoring equipment, H2S/LEL detection, and respiratory protection. Current certifications: H2S Clear, SafeLand, First Aid/CPRpreferred. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to pass apre-employment drug screen and background check. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and on active drilling/completion sites. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform the physical demands of rig-up/rig-down. The Opportunity: We're hiring experienced H2S Safety Technicians and Supervisors to monitor work locations for existing and potential hazardous substances — including Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) and LEL — and to keep our clients' crews safe on every site. Local candidates only. Applicants must reside in the Permian Basin (Midland–Odessa–Andrews, TX area). Out-of-town applications will not be considered.
What You'll Do: Provide on-site supervision of air-monitoring equipment during drilling and completion operations. Oversee personnel using respiratory protection to ensure proper use and compliance. Perform rig-up and rig-down of air-monitoring and safety equipment. Conduct calibration, testing, and inspection of air-monitoring equipment, along with general shop maintenance. Deliver H2S Awareness training and perform respiratory fit testing as required. Prepare pre-job safety documentation, including Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), permits, and related forms. Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance. Monitor and manage H2S levels using detection and alarm systems. Lead dailypre-jobsafety meetings on hazard recognition, emergency response, and proper equipment use. Implement and enforce safety procedures, policies, and protocols. Respond to incidents, accidents, and emergencies with appropriate action and documentation. Maintain accurate records of inspections, training sessions, and incident reports. Manage inventory, maintenance, and proper usage of safety equipment and supplies. Collaborate with management to promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture.
