Apply for this role →We’re working with a global life sciences client seeking a Global Marketing Commercial Launch Project Manager to lead cross-functional planning, coordination, and execution of new product launches from development through commercialization. This role will serve as a central point of integration across commercial, marketing, supply chain, regulatory, medical affairs, manufacturing, quality, finance, and regional teams to ensure launches are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives. This role is full-time and temporary, starting with a 12-month term.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive commercial launch plans, timelines, milestones, governance processes, and launch readiness criteria. Lead cross-functional launch teams and translate commercial launch strategy into actionable workstreams, project plans, and clear deliverables. Coordinate activities across marketing, sales, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, finance, and other key stakeholders. Monitor launch readiness across commercial, operational, regulatory, and supply dimensions, identifying risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and mitigation plans. Track critical launch deliverables, including regulatory approvals, product supply availability, pricing and reimbursement requirements, commercial materials, field readiness, and external partner readiness. Lead regular project team meetings, facilitate steering committee and executive updates, and drive decision-making and issue resolution across stakeholders. Maintain project dashboards, status reports, risk registers, and action logs to provide timely visibility into project health, milestones, and decisions required. Support post-launch reviews, capture lessons learned, and identify opportunities to improve launch excellence processes, tools, templates, and playbooks.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in project management, business, marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management, product launch, commercialization, or program management within animal health, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medical devices, or other life sciences environments. Proven success leading complex, cross-functional projects in a global or matrixed organization.
