Apply for this role →Quality Control Inspector IICox Automotive is seeking a Quality Control Inspector II to ensure products, components, and processes meet strict quality and safety standards across our automotive and telecom-related solutions. In this role, you'll perform detailed inspections using measurement tools, review documentation against specifications, and record and classify defects. You'll collaborate with engineering and operations to resolve nonconformances, support root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions. You will help maintain ISO-aligned quality systems, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and mentor junior inspectors in best practices.
Responsibilities:
Perform in-process and final inspections on parts, products, and systems using measurement tools and checklists Compare results to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards to determine acceptance Document inspection findings, classify defects, and generate nonconformance reports Collaborate with engineering and operations to resolve quality issues and support root cause analysis Recommend and verify corrective and preventive actions to reduce repeat defects Maintain accurate quality records and support audits in line with ISO-aligned requirements Support and participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives Assist in training and mentoring junior inspectors on procedures and tools
