Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes, workflow, equipment layout, and production efficiency using Lean/Six Sigma principles. Validate BOMs, work instructions, assembly drawings, and other manufacturing documentation. Develop and update work instructions, fixtures, jigs, and test equipment. Support machine assembly, troubleshooting, engineering changes, and new machine production releases. Translate 3D models and detailed drawings into manufacturing processes, including identification of critical-to-quality requirements. Participate in DFMEA/DFA reviews and lead PFMEA activities for new products and significant design changes. Collaborate with engineering, QA, production, and vendors on process improvements and equipment development. Use problem-solving methodologies such as 8D to identify root causes and resolve production issues.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.5+ years of experience in a machinery manufacturing environment. Strong machine assembly experience with hands-on troubleshooting skills. Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings. Experience with 3D CAD; SolidWorks preferred. Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems. Knowledge of PLCs and electromechanical systems. Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification or 3+ years of practical Lean/Six Sigma experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
