Senior Technical Policy Writer: Legal & Regulatory

The Harris County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Technical Policy Writer to perform advanced policy research, analysis, development, and technical writing. You will craft, revise, and maintain agency policies, procedures, and directives to ensure legal compliance, operational feasibility, and alignment with federal, state, and local law. Working with Executive Command, Legal Counsel, and subject-matter experts, you will translate complex requirements into clear policy language, identify gaps, and
