Apply for this role →SUU’s Biology Department is seeking a creative, Work Study-eligible Biology student to help produce social media and other content to highlight the amazing things going on in the department.
Responsibilities:
Work with the department Administrative Assistant in gathering media and info for social media posts.
Create weekly posts regarding activities, labs, field trips, and other events happening in the Biology Department.
Communicate with faculty and clubs on research, projects, and events.
Assist the Administrative Assistant in other projects/tasks.
Qualifications:
Have strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills and can maintain social media, email marketing, and other writing assignments with little supervision.
Must have own camera.
Familiarity with digital media and print marketing materials
Must be FERPA trained and willing to follow FERPA guidelines.
Must be work-study eligible.
Preference will be given to Biology majors.
