Work Environment: This role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in the heart of Sanford, Florida. You will be part of a supportive team of healthcare professionals, including physiatrists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides, all committed to teamwork in patient care.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities, developing tailored treatment plans based on individual assessments. Adhere to state practice acts and regulations governing the practice of physical therapy, including supervising patients and therapy assistants as appropriate. Utilize evidence-based treatment protocols, applying your clinical expertise to implement effective rehabilitative strategies tailored to each patient's needs. Engage in continuous consultation with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and timely modifications to treatment plans when necessary. Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and legibly, providing clear narratives of patients' care journeys. Facilitate discharge planning and comprehensive follow-up care, ensuring seamless transitions as patients progress through their rehabilitation goals. Participate actively in compliance training as well as ongoing professional development opportunities. Drive departmental productivity by efficiently managing patient care tasks while maintaining high standards of patient quality care. Engage in regular training sessions, rounds, and team meetings to stay current on best practices and contribute to departmental initiatives. Patient Population / Client FocusYour primary focus will be on patients ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management, helping them regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall strength and functionality. Our diverse clientele requires an adaptable approach, as you will work with individuals at different stages of recovery. Tailoring interventions and being responsive to each patient's unique circumstances is crucial in achieving positive treatment outcomes.

Qualifications: Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with patients, fostering a motivating and encouraging environment. Current CPR certification. Demonstrated commitment to a patient-centered philosophy of care.

Preferred Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a preference for backgrounds in rehabilitation therapy. Experience using electronic health records (EHR) for documentation and patient management. Familiarity with current best practices and trends in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits: The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
