Location: Flexible — candidates in New York, Boston, Washington DC, Dallas, Virginia, Chicago Philadelphia, or Baltimore preferred; proximity to a firm office is a plus but not required.

About the Opportunity: A Chambers-ranked, mid-sized firm with national strength in tax and investment funds work is seeking a Partner-level attorney to join its Investment Management practice. This is a confidential lateral search for someone with a strong background in fund formation and ongoing fund counsel, joining a group with an active, sophisticated client base, meaningful international reach across Ireland, the UK, France, and Italy, and room for continued growth. Practice Focus Fund formation across a range of investment vehicle types, including cross-border structures Ongoing portfolio management and regulatory counsel for fund clients, including international matters spanning Ireland, the UK, France, and Italy Business development and client relationship management Collaboration with the firm's broader corporate, securities, and regulatory teams

What We're Looking For: Current book of business in the $1M–$5M range (does not need to be at the top end of that range)Deep substantive experience in investment funds law — formation, structuring, and regulatory compliance Demonstrated ability to originate and grow client relationships, not just execute on existing matters Partner-level standing (or associate/counsel-level candidates with a clear, imminent path to partnership and portable business will also be considered)Comfortable working across a distributed, multi-office platform What the Firm OffersA collaborative, established Investment Management group with strong internal referral flow Platform support to grow an existing book rather than build one from scratch Flexibility on office location among the markets listed above
