Responsibilities:
- Teach courses within the Sonography curriculum that coordinates with clinical experience
- Develop course objectives, lesson plans, curriculum, syllabus
- Design, prepare, and develop teaching material that conforms to the AIUM, SDMS and JRCDMS guidelines regarding sonography education
- Instruct and evaluate students and report progress, utilizing Touro instructional tools (i.e., Canvas, etc.)Cooperate and participate in periodic review and revision of course material and program materials
- Maintain appropriate expertise and competencies through continuing professional development
- QualificationsEducation/ Experience
Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent related experience. Master's Degree preferred.
Teaching experience For sonography specific courses, RDMS certification required.
Knowledge /Skills/ Abilities:
Familiarity in online learning platforms including Banner, Canvas, Blackboard, & Adobe Connect.
A high degree of interpersonal competency: professionalism, diplomacy, judgement and discretion.
Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty and colleagues.
Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal).Maximum SalaryUSD $4,200.00/SemMinimum SalaryUSD $3,000.00/Sem
