Manager, Technical Governance Team

In this role, you'll manage a team researching technical aspects of AI regulations and safety policy. Build relationships with policymakers and AI companies to communicate research findings and influence policy. Interface with MIRI teams to align technical governance work with broader organizational goals. Track projects, motivate progress toward deadlines, and oversee team hiring and development. Contribute directly to research on AI threat modeling, policy design, and safety evaluations.
