Location: Wayne, NJ (In-person, Mon–Fri 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year

About the Opportunity:
Alaimo Group is an established multidisciplinary engineering and planning firm serving public-sector infrastructure needs. This Wayne, NJ role is for an experienced municipal/civil engineer who combines design, project engineering, client coordination and construction administration, owning assignments from feasibility and site investigation through calculations, plans/specifications, cost estimating, scheduling and construction support.
Must-Haves:
- 6+ years of municipal/civil engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Project engineering / project management experience
- Strong civil design and technical problem-solving
- Civil 3D, AutoCAD, GIS, Revit, Bluebeam and/or Mathcad
- Able to work in person in Wayne, NJ, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and support municipal/civil infrastructure projects
- Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations
- Prepare calculations, drawings and specifications
- Support estimating, scheduling and resource coordination
- Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors and project teams
- Perform construction administration, inspections and testing support
- Maintain compliance with applicable standards and regulations
- Target Project Experience: municipal roads, bridges, public buildings/site work, feasibility studies, design calculations, specifications, cost estimating, construction administration and inspections, for municipal governments, public works, counties or public agencies. xaygatp Strong Plus:
- New Jersey municipal / public-sector consulting experience
- Full project lifecycle delivery through construction administration
- Strong Civil 3D / AutoCAD depth plus GIS or document-review tools
- Local permitting / municipal review familiarity
Likely Current Titles: Municipal Engineer, Civil Engineer, Senior Civil Engineer, Project Engineer, Municipal Project Manager, Civil Project Manager.
