Originally established on the East Coast, the firm is now expanding its presence in the Chicago market and is looking to add a Tax Senior to its growing Lincolnshire team. This is a unique opportunity to join an established national firm while still being early enough in the Chicago expansion to have a meaningful role in the growth of the local office. Prepare and review complex individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns Take a lead role throughout the tax engagement process, from planning through completion Research and assist with complex tax matters and develop thoughtful solutions for clients Identify tax planning opportunities and help clients minimize or defer tax liabilities Collaborate closely with Managers, Partners, and other members of the Tax team Continue developing your technical expertise through exposure to a variety of clients and tax matters Contribute to the growth and development of the Chicago office as the local team expands About the Tax Practice The firms Tax practice offers a broad range of services, giving team members the opportunity to work with a diverse client base and continue expanding their expertise. Business TaxIndividual TaxState & Local TaxR&D Tax Credits International TaxPrivate Client Services 3+ years of tax experience within a public accounting environment~ Strong experience preparing and/or reviewing individual, partnership, and/or corporate tax returns~ CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification preferred~ Strong technical tax and research skills~
